Story Hour @ Falls City Library & Arts Center 2010

The library program for 3-5 year olds (pre kindergarten) will begin Thursday, September 9, 2010, @ 5:30- 6:30 P.M. 

The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.  Julie Froeschl will teach the class through November 18.  Programs will resume January 13, through April 2011.

The children will learn to interact with each other, their teacher , and the library staff.  Through books, stories, games, puppets, and other activities the children will become familiar with the library and learn the value of reading.

There is no charge for the program but we do request that each child becomes a registered patron.  Falls City residents support the library through property taxes, non-residents are required to pay an annual fee of $10 for children, or $25 for a family.

For safety we request that the children wait inside the library for an adult to come for them.

During adverse weather, when school is cancelled – there will be no story hour.   Sometimes the library cancels the program on snowy nights, please check the local radio stations, KTNC 12.30 AM, or Sunny 101.3 FM, the library’s website www.fallscitylibrary.org/ ,e-mail: info @fallscitylibrary.org/ or  phone the library @ 245-2913.
