"From Particle to Planets" explores the role and meaning of the physical in artwork. The medium used constrains the artist but the medium also frees the artist to construct a personal reality, to infinitely expand the possiblilities of knowing and relating to the physical. The artist manipulates the subject and controls the light, color, texture, depth, form and space of the work to produce an evocative image, a statement of the mind and view of the artist.
